Are you really connected to your WHY?

how big is your why?

How big is your WHY?

We all have a driving force that helps us to achieve things in life. In most cases it’s your GOAL or your WHY. Why are you doing what you are doing right now in your life and what do you hope to achieve?

The bigger the WHY the more likely you are to succeed, but you do need to be emotionally connected to your WHY to really want it so bad it hurts!

So take a moment to think with me… How big is your WHY?  When was the last time you looked at your WHY?

Be totally honest and go and get a piece of paper and a pen and work with me on this one…

W..what is your WHY?

H…how are you going to reach do it?

Y …years, how long is it going to take you to reach your goal?

If you are on your phone then don’t scroll down until you have answered each question 😉

At each stage answer the question and write the answer down don’t just refer to the answer in the previous question.

Ready?

What is your W.H.Y?

Why do you want your W.H.Y?

What happens if you reach your W.H.Y?
who does it affect?
how does it affect them?

now think a little deeper…

What happens if you reach your W.H.Y?
who does it affect?
how does it affect them?
what does it mean to you?

now think a little deeper…

What happens if you reach your W.H.Y?
who does it affect?
how does it affect them?
what does it mean to you?
what will it enable you to do or not do?

now think a little deeper… really drill down into your WHY to find out what will drive you to achieve this point in your life that you desire and now understand more deeply than you did when you first wrote it down at the top of your piece of paper…

What happens if you reach your W.H.Y?
who does it affect?
how does it affect them?
what does it mean to you?
what will it enable you to do or not do?
how will it affect your future?

now if you can go one more step, thinking even deeper about your why.

What happens if you reach your W.H.Y?
who does it affect?
how does it affect them?
what does it mean to you?
what will it enable you to do or not do?
how will it affect your future?
What does your WHY taste like?
What does your WHY feel like?

Now how strong is your WHY?

Don’t be scared to change your WHY,  life is constantly changing and you need to evolve with it and grow with it.

How big is your why?

    Hi Cath
I’m from WA and have been meaning to catch up with your site since well before Christmas. It’s taken me a while but I’m finally here. I thought I was ‘down’ with my ‘why’ but I’ve recently been reading some self development material that says just what you’re saying – you need to be able to see, taste and feel your
whys. Of course I’ve heard it before but when you’ve been around as long as me, not much is new. Still it’s not that we don’t know things that is our biggest problem it’s that we forget to apply them, so thanks for the reminder 🙂
